Chess Cube

The checkerboard cube is the challenge per se, even for experienced tinkerers. The task is to assemble all 9 parts so that a cube is created, the 6 sides of which have the checkerboard pattern. The difficulty should not be underestimated. Please also note the beautiful corn poppy from Mallorca in the background ;-).
